Album
Simplicity
Simplicity is the tenth studio album by the American hard rock band Tesla, released on 6 June 2014 through Frontiers Records. In the United States it followed on 10 June, and it entered the Billboard 200 at No. 24 after selling around 14,000 copies in its first week.
It arrived as the follow-up to Twisted Wires & The Acoustic Sessions from 2011, and it sits between that record and 2019's Shock in the band's catalogue. For listeners who came to Tesla through Mechanical Resonance, The Great Radio Controversy and Psychotic Supper, it shows a band still making new hard rock albums decades after their 1980s debut, and it is a good place to catch up with where they had got to by the mid-2010s.
