Gold
Gold is a compilation from Tesla, released on 26 August 2008 through Geffen. It gathers material from the hard rock band's career into a single collection, and it appeared in the US on the same day.
It sits among the three compilations in a discography that also includes nine studio albums, four live albums and 23 singles. The band's studio story runs from Mechanical Resonance in 1986 through The Great Radio Controversy, Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut, then on to Into the Now in 2004. Gold arrived the same year as Forever More, so it makes a handy way into the catalogue for anyone who wants an overview before digging into the individual records.
