Time’s Makin’ Changes: The Best of Tesla
Time's Makin' Changes: The Best of Tesla is the hard rock band's first greatest hits collection, released by Geffen on 20 November 1995. It arrived a year after Bust a Nut, the fourth of their studio albums, and gathers material from the group's first stretch on record.
The selection draws on all four of those albums: Mechanical Resonance, The Great Radio Controversy, Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. It also takes in material from their first live album, Five Man Acoustical Jam, so the stripped-back side of the band sits alongside the studio recordings. There is one new song too, "Steppin' Over", which gives long-standing fans a reason to pick it up. For newcomers, it works as a compact route into Tesla's early years.
