Album
Heartbreak Station
Heartbreak Station is the third studio album by American band Cinderella, released in November 1990. It follows Night Songs and Long Cold Winter, and it finds the group leaning further into a bluesy, muscular hard rock sound than their glam metal beginnings might suggest. It was also the only full album to feature drummer Fred Coury, who left the following year, though he did play on one track on Still Climbing.
The record did well for them. It reached No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and went platinum in early 1991. Of its three singles, "Shelter Me" climbed to No. 36 on the Hot 100 and the title track to No. 44, while "The More Things Change" missed the chart. It is worth hearing for the band's shift in direction and for the title track and "Shelter Me".
