Five Songs and a Cover

Five Songs and a Cover is a Foo Fighters EP that came out on 20 November 2005, sold exclusively through Best Buy stores. It gathers B-sides from singles taken from that year's album In Your Honor, and the title tells you the running order: five originals and one cover.

The cover is Cream's "I Feel Free", with a neat swap of roles: Taylor Hawkins sings while Dave Grohl takes the drum stool. "Skin and Bones", first heard as the B-side to "DOA", went on to become a favourite at the band's acoustic shows. Apart from the Cream song, the tracks have since reappeared on streaming services as part of the EP 01050525, so it is a handy way to catch up on the odds and ends from the In Your Honor era.
