Album
Naïve
Naïve is the fourth studio album by the German industrial band KMFDM, released on 15 November 1990 on Wax Trax! Records. It follows UAIOE from 1989 and arrived two years before Money, placing it in the middle of the group's early run of records.
The album was made after the band came back from their first trip to the United States and a tour with Ministry. It was also their first release after signing directly to Wax Trax!, the Chicago label that would become closely tied to their sound. The record is filed under industrial, industrial rock and industrial dance, and it is a useful stop for anyone tracing how KMFDM's mix of heavy guitars and club-minded electronics took shape at the turn of the 1990s.
