WTF?!
WTF?! is KMFDM's sixteenth studio album, released on 26 April 2011 through KMFDM Records and Metropolis Records. It follows Blitz and Skold vs. KMFDM from 2009, and it sits in the long run of records the German industrial band has made since the mid-1980s. The core line-up of Sascha Konietzko, Lucia Cifarelli, Jules Hodgson, Andy Selway and Steve White was joined by guests from other industrial and alternative metal acts.
It took roughly twice as long to make as the band's usual albums, and the material changed a good deal along the way. Critics were largely positive, though most thought it stuck to the formula KMFDM had worked with for years. It reached No. 8 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, while "Krank" and "Amnesia" were the singles. If you like your industrial rock familiar and well made, this is a solid place to land.
