Tokyo Dome Live in Concert
Tokyo Dome Live in Concert is Van Halen's second live album, released on 31 March 2015 through Warner Bros. Records. It follows 1993's Live: Right Here, Right Now, but this one is the first live record to feature original frontman David Lee Roth, which makes it a notable addition to the band's catalogue.
It arrived three years after the studio album A Different Kind of Truth, which also had Roth at the microphone. It is the last Van Halen album released in Eddie Van Halen's lifetime, so it stands as a document of the band in its classic hard rock form, and it is worth hearing for that reason alone.
