Live: Right Here, Right Now
Live: Right Here, Right Now. was Van Halen's first live album, released in February 1993 on Warner Bros. Records. It arrived after For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge in 1991, the most recent studio record of the band's Sammy Hagar era, and before Balance in 1995. It is a hard rock set and a snapshot of the group fronted by Hagar.
The record carries some unusual weight in the catalogue. It stood as the band's only live album until Tokyo Dome Live in Concert, a David Lee Roth-era recording, appeared in 2015. It also remained their only live release with Hagar until Live in Dallas 1991 came out in 2024. For anyone curious how the Hagar line-up sounded on stage, this was the one place to hear it for over thirty years.
