The Return of the Great Gildersleeves is a 2000 album by Danger Danger, the hard rock band formed in Queens, New York, in 1986. It came out on 23 February 2000 and sits between Four the Hard Way, released in 1997, and Cockroach, which arrived in 2001. It is the fifth of the band's studio albums, and it falls within a busy stretch for them at the turn of the millennium.
Danger Danger belonged to the East Coast hard rock scene of the 1980s, alongside Bon Jovi, Skid Row and White Lion.
