Live and Nude is a live album from Danger Danger, released in 2005. The band are an American hard rock group who formed in Queens, New York, in 1986, and the record is filed under glam metal.
It sits well after the run that began with their self-titled debut in 1989 and continued through Screw It! in 1991, Dawn in 1995 and Four the Hard Way in 1997. By 2005 they had also made The Return of the Great Gildersleeves and the Cockroach records, so this is a snapshot of an established band rather than a debut statement. Danger Danger belonged to the East Coast 80s hard rock scene alongside Bon Jovi, Skid Row and White Lion, and AllMusic described their style as mixing pop hooks and good looks with hard-edged guitar riffs. That makes a live set a fair way to hear how those songs hold up on stage.
