Behind Closed Doors
Behind Closed Doors is the third studio album by English hard rock band Thunder, following Back Street Symphony and Laughing on Judgement Day. It was recorded between May and August 1994, mainly at Southern Tracks in Atlanta, with guitarist Luke Morley and Mike Fraser producing. Fraser also mixed it at the Record Plant in Los Angeles. It came out on 23 January 1995 in Europe and Japan, but not in the United States.
This is the only Thunder record with bassist Mikael "Micke" Höglund, who joined in February 1993 after Mark "Snake" Luckhurst left. All five members wrote for it, along with former producer Andy Taylor, and a wide range of guest musicians appear. It reached number 5 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned three top 40 singles: "Stand Up", "River of Pain" and "Castles in the Sand".
