The Rare, the Raw and the Rest...
The Rare, the Raw and the Rest... is a compilation from the British hard rock band Thunder, released on 21 June 1999. It gathers b-sides, studio out-takes and live tracks recorded while the band were signed to EMI Records. Many of these had either never come out or had not been available on CD before.
The collection was put together by Luke Morley, Thunder's lead guitarist and main songwriter, so the selection comes from the person who wrote much of the band's material. It arrived in the same year as their studio album Giving the Game Away, and it suits fans who know the main records and want to dig into the odds and ends from the EMI years.
