Please Remain Seated
Please Remain Seated is the twelfth studio album by English hard rock band Thunder, released on 18 January 2019. Rather than offering a set of new songs, it takes tracks from their back catalogue and reworks them in a major way, so familiar favourites arrive in fresh clothes.
The band recorded it in late 2018 at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales, with lead guitarist Luke Morley producing. It followed Rip It Up in 2017 and came ahead of All the Right Noises in 2021, and it entered the UK Albums Chart at number 8, extending a run of top 10 albums for the band in the 2010s. It's a good way in for anyone curious how these songs sound when the band revisits them.
