Carnival Diablos
Carnival Diablos is the eighth studio album by Annihilator, the Canadian metal band, released on 23 January 2001 through Sanctuary Records. It followed Criteria for a Black Widow from 1999 and came just ahead of Waking the Fury in 2002, so it sits in the middle of a busy stretch for the band.
The big change here is behind the microphone. This is the first Annihilator record to feature Joe Comeau, formerly of Overkill, on vocals. The music draws on groove, progressive and thrash metal, which makes it a good one to try if you want to hear how the band's sound shifted as the new century began.
