For the Demented
For the Demented is the sixteenth studio album by Canadian thrash metal band Annihilator, released on 3 November 2017 through Silver Lining Music. It follows Suicide Society from 2015 and arrived a few years before Ballistic, Sadistic in 2020, so it sits in the later stretch of a catalogue that began with Alice in Hell in 1989.
For anyone who came to the band through those early records, it shows Annihilator still working firmly in thrash metal, long after their debut. It makes a fair starting point for following what the band did in the late 2010s, and a useful link between the albums that surround it.
