Dead Eyes See No Future EP
Dead Eyes See No Future is the second EP from Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, released on 2 November 2004 through Century Media Records. It arrived between Anthems of Rebellion and Doomsday Machine, and works as a stopgap that pulls together studio, live and cover material.
The title track comes from Anthems of Rebellion. Three live recordings, "Burning Angel", "We Will Rise" and "Heart of Darkness", were captured at Elysée Montmartre in Paris on 27 February 2004. The first and last of those originally appeared on Wages of Sin, while "We Will Rise" is another Anthems of Rebellion song. The covers are the real draw: Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction", Manowar's "Kill With Power" and Carcass's "Incarnated Solvent Abuse". A video for "We Will Rise" completes the package.
