Khaos Legions
Khaos Legions is the eighth studio album by Arch Enemy, the Swedish melodic death metal band, released in May 2011. It was their first set of brand new songs since Rise of the Tyrant, following a live CD/DVD recorded in Japan and The Root of All Evil, a collection of re-recorded older material. Four tracks got videos: "Yesterday Is Dead and Gone", "Bloodstained Cross", "Under Black Flags We March" and "Cruelty Without Beauty".
It also marks the end of an era. This was the last record with Angela Gossow on vocals before she moved into a business management role and Alissa White-Gluz took over in 2014, and the last with founding guitarist Christopher Amott, who left for the second time in 2012. It entered the Billboard 200 at number 78, the band's best showing there at that point, which makes it a handy snapshot of the line-up just before the changes.
