Live at Montreux 2012
Live at Montreux 2012 is a concert release from the Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, issued in 2013 on Edel Germany. It comes as a DVD, Blu-ray and CD, with the video filmed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
The show was recorded during her Guardian Angel Tour, which means she played several songs from Havoc and Bright Lights, her album that had not yet come out when the performance took place. That makes it a useful snapshot of her between records, following her 2008 studio album Flavors of Entanglement. For anyone who knows her through Jagged Little Pill, it offers a chance to hear how she presented new material to a festival crowd in a pop and rock setting.
