Lucy
Lucy is the second studio album by Seattle rock band Candlebox, released on 3 October 1995 through Maverick. It sits in the grunge and post-grunge camp, and it arrived as the follow-up to their self-titled debut of 1993.
It didn't match the commercial heights of that first record, but it was far from a flop. "Simple Lessons" picked up considerable airplay, and the album eventually went gold. Four of its tracks were later chosen for The Best of Candlebox in 2006, which says something about how well they have held up. If you only know the band from their debut, this is the next step in their story, and it is worth hearing for that single alone.
