On The Loose
On The Loose is a soundtrack EP by Europe, released in 1985 on Epic. It sits in the band's story just as they moved to the label, after their first two albums, Europe in 1983 and Wings of Tomorrow in 1984, which came out on the independent Hot Records.
It is a hard rock release from the Swedish band formed by vocalist Joey Tempest and guitarist John Norum in Upplands Väsby, who began as Force in 1979. It arrived between Wings of Tomorrow and The Final Countdown, the 1986 album that followed their Epic signing. For anyone tracing how the band got from their early records to that next chapter, it makes a handy stopgap to hear.
