Left

Left is Helmet's ninth studio album, released on 10 November 2023 through earMUSIC. It follows Dead to the World from 2016 and extends a run of records that began with Strap It On in 1990 and took in Meantime, Betty and Aftertaste before the band's return in the mid-2000s with Size Matters, Monochrome and Seeing Eye Dog.

For anyone who first met Helmet through the early-1990s albums, it is the latest chapter in a catalogue stretching across more than three decades. It makes a natural companion to the band's more recent work, and a useful way to hear where they stand now compared with the records that made their name.
