Album
Shout at the Devil
Shout at the Devil is the second album by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on 23 September 1983 through Elektra. It followed their 1981 debut, Too Fast for Love, and it was the record that broke them through, setting them on course to become one of the best-selling metal acts of the decade.
The singles "Looks That Kill", "Too Young to Fall in Love" and the title track all did respectable business, and they remain a good way into the band's early sound. Its blend of heavy metal, hard rock and glam swagger sits right at the point where Mötley Crüe stopped being a Sunset Strip rumour and became a name everyone knew. If you want to hear where their story really starts to build, this is the place.
