Album
World Demise
World Demise is the fourth album by the American death metal band Obituary. It came out in September 1994 on Roadrunner Records, following Slowly We Rot, Cause of Death and The End Complete.
It sits in the middle of the band's long run of studio albums, ahead of Back From the Dead in 1997. The track "Don't Care" got a music video, which makes it a handy way in if you want to hear how the band sounded at this point in their story. For anyone tracing Obituary's career from their 1989 debut onwards, this is the record that fills the gap between their early run and the later comeback years.
