The End Complete
The End Complete is the third album by American death metal band Obituary, released in April 1992 on R/C Records. It followed Slowly We Rot (1989) and Cause of Death (1990), and it arrived two years before World Demise, so it sits right in the middle of the run of records that first built the band's name.
For anyone who loves death metal from the early nineties, it is a natural place to land after those first two albums, and it shows the band holding to their genre rather than chasing trends. It is worth hearing as a snapshot of where Obituary stood in 1992, with the band well into their stride and about to carry on through a long career that stretches all the way to Dying of Everything in 2023.
