Dead is a live album by the American death metal band Obituary, released in April 1998 on Roadrunner Records. The title is a wry joke, a deadpan play on the word "live" from a band whose whole identity is built around mortality and decay.

It arrived after Back From the Dead in 1997, and so sits between the first four studio albums, from Slowly We Rot in 1989 to World Demise in 1994, and the long gap before Frozen in Time in 2005. For anyone who knows the band mainly through records like Cause of Death or The End Complete, it offers a chance to hear that murky, heavy sound in a concert setting.
