Life Won’t Wait
Life Won't Wait is the fourth studio album by the American punk rock band Rancid, released in June 1998 on Epitaph. It followed ...And Out Come the Wolves from 1995, and it arrived as the band's fourth record in a run that had begun with their self-titled debut in 1993 and continued with Let's Go in 1994.
The album sits in punk rock territory but leans into ska and ska punk too, which gives it a wider palette than you might expect from a straight-ahead punk record. If you know Rancid mainly through their mid-90s breakthrough, this is the next chapter in the story, and a good place to hear how the band stretched out before their self-titled album of 2000.
