Live in NYC
Live in NYC is a live album and DVD from the American alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, released in July 2013. It was recorded at Terminal 5 in New York on 25 July 2011, and the night saw the world concert premiere of their new single "Irresistible Force".
It arrived after four studio albums, from Nothing's Shocking in 1988 and Ritual de lo habitual in 1990 through to Strays in 2003 and The Great Escape Artist in 2011. It is also the band's first fully live release since their 1987 self-titled debut, so it makes a useful companion to that early record. If you want to hear how the band sounded on stage in the early 2010s, with the DVD to show it, this is the place to start.
