Faster Pussycat Live and Rare 1990
Live and Rare is an EP from Faster Pussycat, released on Elektra on 10 July 1990. It is a hard rock set built entirely from songs that had already appeared on the band's first two albums, the self-titled debut of 1987 and Wake Me When It's Over from 1989.
The difference lies in the versions. Rather than offering new material, the EP presents those songs in alternate remixes, edited cuts or live performances. It sits between Wake Me When It's Over and the 1992 album Whipped!, which makes it a handy stopgap for anyone who knew the band's early work and fancied hearing it reworked.
