Love: Live From the Point Depot
Love: Live From the Point Depot is a U2 concert recording from the Lovetown Tour, captured at Dublin's Point Depot on New Year's Eve 1989. The show was broadcast on radio around the world, and fans were encouraged to tape it at home. Their fan magazine, Propaganda, even included a special cassette cover for the purpose. It went on to become one of the most heavily bootlegged U2 shows of all time.
The first official release came in 2004, as a digital album on Island through the iTunes Music Store, as part of the digital box set The Complete U2. Its tracks could only be bought with the whole set, and it is no longer available for download. For anyone who knew the show only from a worn cassette or a bootleg, it offered a proper version of a well-loved night in the band's home city.
