Live From Under the Brooklyn Bridge
Live From Under the Brooklyn Bridge is a four-track live EP by U2, released on 9 December 2004 on Island. It came out as a digital-only release through the iTunes Store in the United States and Canada, and the tracks were issued as AAC files rather than on any physical format.
The songs were recorded on 22 November 2004 at a surprise concert beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. The band played it after a full day filming the video for "All Because of You" around New York City, and the show was filmed for an MTV special, mtvJAMMED: U2. It arrived in the same year as How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, so it catches the band at the point that album was reaching listeners. The EP is no longer sold on iTunes, but the performance can be found on YouTube.
