U2.COMmunication is a live album that U2 released in 2005 exclusively to members of their official website, and its title is a play on the band's web address. It was issued in the US in October 2005. The recordings come from two Vertigo Tour shows: one in Chicago, filmed for the Vertigo 2005: Live from Chicago video, and one in Milan, filmed for Vertigo 05: Live from Milan, which also appeared with deluxe copies of the compilation U218 Singles.
The standout moment is "Miss Sarajevo", dedicated to the victims of the July 2005 London bombings, with Bono singing the Luciano Pavarotti aria part himself. Fans also got a bonus CD-ROM with wallpapers, screensavers and a video of "Vertigo" from Milan. The album was discontinued on 20 November 2006, when Zoo TV Live took its place.
