Muchas Gracias: The Best of Kyuss
Muchas Gracias: The Best of Kyuss is a compilation from the American stoner rock band, released through Elektra on 28 November 2000. Despite the "best of" billing, it works more as a collection of rarities. Only five tracks come from the band's four studio albums, Wretch, Blues for the Red Sun, Welcome to Sky Valley and ...And the Circus Leaves Town, and the rest is made up largely of B-sides and other hard-to-find material.
The closing four tracks are the real draw for anyone who missed them first time round. They were recorded live in Hamburg on 24 May 1994 and originally appeared on the Live at Marquee Club EP, which came with the first 3,000 German and Australian copies of Welcome to Sky Valley. They also turned up on various editions of the "Demon Cleaner" single that year. Here they sit together on one disc, a useful companion for committed fans.
