Released22 August 2000
Popularity11.1

Unplugged at the Lowlands Festival '97 is a live album from Life of Agony, released on 22 August 2000 through Roadrunner Records. It comes from an acoustic set at the Lowlands Festival in Holland, with the first eight tracks recorded there on 23 August 1997, the same year as the band's third studio album, Soul Searching Sun.

The disc also carries seven extras. There is a previously unreleased studio track, a live recording from Cologne, Germany, made the day after the festival, and five tracks taped in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on 25 February 1994, in the wake of River Runs Red. For anyone who knows the band's heavier side, it is a chance to hear their alternative metal and hard rock songwriting stripped back, alongside a snapshot of them earlier in their career.
