Album
Coaster
Coaster is NOFX's eleventh studio album, released in 2009 on Fat Wreck Chords. The band had been going since the late 1980s, and this record arrived after Wolves in Wolves' Clothing in 2006 and before Self/Entitled in 2012, so it sits in the middle of a long and steady run of albums on their own label's home turf.
It is a punk rock record from a band that by then had two decades of practice at the form. One quirk for collectors: the vinyl edition came out under a different title, Frisbee, so the same album turns up with two names depending on how you buy it. If you're working your way through the NOFX catalogue beyond the 1990s favourites, this is a good place to see where they were at as the 2000s closed.
