The War on Errorism
The War on Errorism is NOFX's ninth studio album, released on 6 May 2003 through Fat Wreck Chords. It arrived after the band left Epitaph Records in 2001, following 2000's Pump Up the Valuum, and it marked a return to Fat Wreck Chords for a group that had been making fast, melodic skate punk since the late 1980s.
Placed between 2002's BYO Split Series, Volume III and 2006's Wolves in Wolves' Clothing, it sits at a turning point in the Californian band's long run of records. For anyone who came to NOFX through Punk in Drublic or So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes, it shows where the band stood after changing labels, still working in the same punk rock tradition.
