The Longest EP
The Longest EP is a NOFX compilation released on 17 August 2010 through Fat Wreck Chords. Despite the name, it isn't an EP at all. It gathers songs recorded between 1987 and 2009, mixing rarities and out-of-print tracks with previously unreleased outtakes.
It sits in the band's catalogue as a follow-on to 45 or 46 Songs That Weren't Good Enough to Go on Our Other Records, from 2002, and has been described as its sequel. Its arrival also meant the band's other EPs would go out of print, so it works as a single home for material that had been scattered around. For fans who followed NOFX from the late 1980s through Coaster, it's a handy way to catch the odds and ends from across those years. The artwork comes from the same illustrator who drew the cover of The Longest Line.
