The P.M.R.C. Can Suck on This
The P.M.R.C. Can Suck on This is an EP by the American punk band NOFX, first put out in 1987 on Wassail Records. That first pressing was limited to 500 copies with hand-written labels, and the sleeve showed a black-and-white photo montage of Tammy Faye Bakker pegging her then-husband, the televangelist Jim Bakker. It was reissued through Fat Wreck Chords on January 1, 1990, by which point the cover had been swapped for a shot of guitarist Eric Melvin playing live.
It comes right at the start of the band's recorded story, a year before their debut album Liberal Animation. Led Zeppelin fans can have fun with "Shut Up Already", which borrows a riff from "Living Loving Maid", while the Liberal Animation version of the track closes on a riff from "Black Dog". All five songs later turned up on the Longest EP compilation.
