BYO Split Series, Volume III

BYO Split Series, Volume III is a split release pairing NOFX with fellow American punk rock band Rancid, issued through BYO Records on 5 March 2002. It was the third entry in the label's split series, and it comes with a neat twist: each band plays six songs, and every one is a cover of a track originally by the other.

There were two versions of the CD. The green cover puts the NOFX tracks first, while the orange cover opens with Rancid's, though the running order within each band's set is the same on both. It sits between Pump Up the Valuum and The War on Errorism in NOFX's catalogue, and one track has had a long afterlife: their take on Radio became a live staple, and the band have played it at many shows since.
