Insineratehymn

Insineratehymn is the fifth studio album by the American death metal band Deicide, released in June 2000 on Roadrunner Records. It arrived three years after Serpents of the Light, and it sits in the middle of a run that began with their self-titled debut in 1990 and has continued into the 2020s.

For anyone tracing the band's story, it marks the point where the 1990s gave way to the new decade, and it was followed within about a year by In Torment in Hell. It is a useful record to hear if you want to understand how Deicide carried their death metal approach into the 2000s, and it fits neatly between their early run of albums and the later work that followed.
