EP
The Plasma Shaft
The Plasma Shaft is a two-disc set from Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on 27 June 1994 through Warner Bros. Records in Australia and Japan. It was issued as a companion to Blood Sugar Sex Magik, packaged in its own jewel case.
The first disc is the full 17-track Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The second gathers eight tracks recorded during the sessions for that album, all of which had already appeared as B-sides to various singles, including the hit "Soul to Squeeze". It's a handy way to hear those scattered extras in one place, sitting alongside the record they came from, in the period between that album and One Hot Minute.
