Riffs
Riffs is a Queen compilation released on 27 June 2025 on the FP label. As the title suggests, it puts the spotlight on the band's guitar-driven side rather than their ballads or their more theatrical experiments.
It arrives long after the studio run that began with Queen in 1973 and ended with Made in Heaven in 1995, a catalogue that took in Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, The Game and Innuendo along the way. For anyone who thinks of Queen mainly through their hits, a collection built around the guitar is a handy way to hear the band from a different angle.
