The 12″ Collection
The 12″ Collection is a Queen compilation from 1992, issued through Parlophone and available only as part of the Box of Tricks box set. It gathers recordings in the 12-inch single format, including various remixes, so it works as a companion for anyone who likes to hear how the band's songs were stretched and reworked for the dancefloor and the record shop's singles racks.
Two inclusions are worth knowing about. "Bohemian Rhapsody" never came out on a 12-inch single, and the sleeve notes explain that it earns its place because of its length. "The Show Must Go On" did appear on a 12-inch, though not in an extended version, and the sleeve notes offer no reason for its presence. It arrived the year after Innuendo, and it sits as a curiosity within Queen's catalogue rather than a standalone studio statement.
