Greatest Hits III
Greatest Hits III is Queen's third hits compilation, released on 8 November 1999. It gathers later-period songs, solo hits by the band members and collaborations with other artists, which is why the sleeve credits "Queen+". The first two tracks are newly released versions of classic Queen songs.
It's a useful record for following the band's later chapters. "These Are the Days of Our Lives" is here, the song from 1991 that gave Freddie Mercury his last appearance in a music video. So is "No-One but You (Only the Good Die Young)", a 1997 tribute to Mercury that also carries John Deacon's final recording before he retired. Four songs from Made in Heaven, including "Too Much Love Will Kill You" and "Heaven for Everyone", round out the picture. A home video, Greatest Flix III, accompanied it, and the album was reissued in 2011 with light blue cover art.
