Album
The Lucky Ones
The Lucky Ones is the eighth studio album by American rock band Mudhoney, released on 20 May 2008 through Sub Pop Records. It arrived in the US that day, with a UK and European release following in early June. The record is filed under alternative rock.
It follows Under a Billion Suns from 2006 and sits in the middle of a long run of studio albums that began with their self-titled debut in 1989. Vanishing Point would come next in 2013. For anyone tracing the band's career beyond the early Sub Pop years, this is a useful stop, showing a group still turning out records for the same label that has been their home through nearly two decades of albums.
