Fopp is Soundgarden's second EP, released on Sub Pop Records in August 1988. It followed their first EP, Screaming Life, from 1987, and arrived in the same year as their debut album Ultramega OK, so it comes from the band's earliest days on the Seattle label.

The two EPs were later gathered together as the Screaming Life/Fopp compilation in 1990, which is the easiest way to hear them side by side. For anyone tracing the band's path towards Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, Fopp is a useful early marker.
