Album
My Brother the Cow
My Brother the Cow is the fourth studio album by Mudhoney, the American grunge band, released on 28 March 1995 through Reprise Records. It followed Piece of Cake (1992) and came before Tomorrow Hit Today (1998), so it sits in the middle of the band's Reprise years.
The record has lasted well on stage. Nearly all of its songs have been played live, and Judgement, Rage, Retribution and Thyme, along with F.D.K., have become constants in the band's setlists. Only Crankcase Blues has never been performed in concert. The album also came with a bonus 7". In 2020 it was gathered into the four-CD box set Real Low Vibe: Reprise Recordings 1992-1998, which makes it easy to hear alongside the rest of the band's work from that period.
