Collideøscope

Collideøscope is the fourth studio album by the American funk metal band Living Colour, released on 7 October 2003 through Sanctuary Records. It arrived ten years after their previous studio record, Stain, and the band began work on it in 2001. Many of the songs deal with the September 11 attacks, which gives the record a more reflective weight than you might expect from a comeback.

Alongside the original material are two covers: AC/DC's "Back in Black" and The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows". A version of "Sacred Ground" had already appeared on their 1995 compilation Pride. Critics spoke well of the album, though it became the first Living Colour record that failed to chart. It is worth hearing as the bridge between their early run of records and the albums that followed, The Chair in the Doorway and Shade.
