Dread is a live album by Living Colour, released only in Japan in 1993. It gathers recordings from the tour for Stain, the band's third studio album, which arrived the same year. The concert material comes from two nights: 24 April at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, and 7 June at Le Zenith in Paris.
Alongside the live cuts sit an acoustic session recorded in February 1993 for the Dutch radio show Countdown Café, plus two B-sides taped during the Stain sessions. That mix makes it a handy snapshot of the band at that point, both onstage and stripped back. For fans who want more from the Stain era than the studio record offers, it's a collection worth tracking down.
