Album
Phantom Antichrist
Phantom Antichrist is the thirteenth studio album from Kreator, the German thrash metal band. It came out on 30 May 2012 and is a thrash record through and through, arriving three years after Hordes of Chaos and sitting in the middle of the band's long run of albums that began with Endless Pain in 1985.
It is the follow-up that kept the band on the course they had set in the 2000s, and it was the last Kreator record before Gods of Violence in 2017. In the United States it entered the Billboard 200 at No. 130. If you came to Kreator through their late-eighties records or their modern comeback, this one is a useful place to hear where the band stood in the early 2010s.
